Reports of insurrections in Tibet
The Dalai Lama’s assassination accusations against the
Chinese government have fired up thousands of Tibetans who are protesting in
the street Lhasa. Videos of activists running around the city, carrying “FREE
TIBET” signs, have been uploaded to popular social networking sites, bypassing
the notorious Chinese firewall.
The Chinese’s troop movements into the Tibetan region have
been controversial and their human rights record is stained with the blood of hundreds
of Buddhist protesters.
