Press Release from the Cabinet of Ministers of India

The Cabinet of Ministers of India recognizes that on this date, May 19th 2012, explosions have occurred at a hotel in Mumbai, two public areas in Delhi and in the building of the Indian Foreign Ministry. We are extremely saddened by the events of today and extend our condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives from these terrorist actions. As a consequence of these explosions, it is believed that at least 25 people have been killed so far. However, investigation into casualties and deaths will continue. 
The Indian government, on the behalf of its people, is currently using all of its capabilities and power to investigate these terrorist actions and to ensure that the situation is under control. We charge the Minister of Home Affairs to investigate these actions, and those responsible will be brought to justice.
