Foreign Ministers of India, China, Pakistan Meet


The foreign ministers of the three major regional players met to discuss the rising tensions between them in the aftermath of the Mumbai bombings. The public meeting was televised on governmental news networks as the governments attempted to reassure their citizens of the commitment to deal with the matter in an appropriate fashion. All of the ministers expressed their commitment to prevent escalation of the situation, and to cooperate in the imminent investigations into the attacks.
