Dogfight Over Kashmir

The Pakistani airforce strike against Indian forces seems to have been thwarted by the Indian airforce response. Taken by surprise by the initial attack, Indian ground forces along the Line of Actual Control suffered substantial casualties, but after India’s quick mobilization of their airforce in response, India’s superior air technology was able to quickly quell the tide of the assault. Reports of Indian interceptors swiftly dispatching the Pakistani planes ended the air assault within an hour of its beginning. For now the Pakistani airforce has ceased  attack, but considerable damage has been done.
