Statement from the Security Council

We, the United Nations Security Council, strongly condemn the terrorist attacks on India. The council reaffirms that terrorism in all forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security, and that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation. We strongly condemn this indiscriminate violence in India through this series of ugly and odious terrorist attacks. In this sad moment we wish to give our sincerest condolences to the innocent victims and their families.
